Yeah, the rule is based on how many volumes in the library. Not to mention ego stroking by the alumni.

Different media use different rules on titles. It's pretty easy to see by looking at media quotes. The rest of the world has their rules, and you have yours.

I talk to the media or exchange e-mails many times a day. Their rules haven't changed over the years and I am sure they couldn't care less about some anonymous poster's preconceived notions.

Why don't you call them all and give them your suggestions? I'm sure they will pass it along to their editorial boards so they can all meet your needs.
