I'm surprised at you. Calling names before you get out of bed, indeed. Any person who is traveling overseas has the obligation to go to our government and see what is going on in the particular country he/she is interested in.....Or are you considering people stupid?

BTW, the first two links have all sorts of other links to bird flu as well. It would certainly be good if the scientists would agree, and get the word out....but then again, I guess the scientists think the news would 'scare' people.

That is a misreading of Ayn, IMO. She was NOT a libertarian, hated them, as a matter of fact. Public health is a "necessary evil" function of Government for most libertarians, like police, fire, and national defense. Handling them privately is consider "anarchist" by most.

No one in the US is aware of the bird flu story because its not being covered.

Lehrer had good coverage tonite.
