surprised me too.

i think i gave a supportive answer to a few programs vs economics pay out. I also believe corporations are not 'do good' folks in other countries.. for example , we built major refineries in Vz. because of green people in united states.. i highly doubt oil companies cared about any environmental policies. I go back to sixties walking in tank farms and watching caustic chemicals bubbling up from the ground. remember never being able to see anything in river and ten years later i returned and water was clear. wow.. of course coast guard checked all discharge records. all the land had been resurfaced to run rain water to skimmers. remember when they used the slop oil to keep the dust down on dirt roads. (slop oil was the wash out of all blends of oils using all kinds of chemicals). remember the movie about w.r.Grace with buried drums and polluting drinking water, John Travolta played the lawyer against them.

Now that i had two cups of coffee and got my grocery shopping done maybe i get a different score? Maybe ten years of retirement changed me. g

ps maybe its because my company made several billion dollars in each of the last few quarters and raised the cost of my medical insurance.
