Rightfully so, but it's not a joke. Incidently Amnesty INTERNATIONAL doesn't just point out human rights violations in the Good Ol' US of A, but it highlights issues in other countries, such as Iraq (as it stands now). Funny, HR violations in Iraq have accelerated since the US took over. It's sycophants and hacks like yourself who turn a blind eye to inhumanity. The Brownshirts in Hitler's Germany did the very same thing. Americans have this persecution complex about the detractors who expose the evil of the current maladministration.
