GV, The article I read was in the "C" section of WSJ, a small article. I agree with you about the larger effect of floating the Yuan, but I think it is inevitable. When it happens it could/will bring the full weight of the twin deficits into play. And the subsequent recession will be nothing like the mild downturn we experienced a couple of years ago. In my VERY humble opinion, it's not if it's when. You don't think we can recover from these imbalances with a "soft landing" do you? John
