My hope is base on the fact that as poor as I think the Republican candidates for Prez are, I think the Dem candidates are even worse.

Actually, I think, as I gather you do as well, the strongest Rep candidates--McCain and Giuliani (sp??)--can't get the nomination. If so, the Reps are down to Frist and Allen, both not electable in a general election.

As for the Dems, Hillary is awful strong right now. Nothing new there. And is playing it very cagey. Also nothing new. I don't see strong competition for her but I suspect it will emerge.
