Her English is a bit unique. When the Queen, and only the Queen, says "We" we are meant to understand she means "God and I".

If "We" are not amused by something you said, look out for lightning bolts.

The "Queen's English" is never taken literally to mean what "SHE" speaks. Its a description of "(propper) British English" as opposed to "American English" or "Indian English" or "Aus/NZ English" or "Carribean English".

Which reminds me of a conversation with a friend today : Went along the lines of "You, your partner and myself will meet at X restaurant". Go figure.

My English is not "pure English", if such a thing ever existed. I first learnt the language about 35-40 years ago. It sure has evolved for me due to many reasons.
