I am constantly amazed by supposedly literate broadcasters

Yes, it's becoming ubiquitous. What's bothering me most, I think, is the scripted stuff, particularly the commercials. There's no excuse for getting a commercial wrong. There are usually only a couple of hundred words in them, for heaven's sake. It's one thing if they have someone speaking in character, but they have teachers and doctors and housewives doing it. And even the spokespeople. There was a Kodak commercial that played all through the Olympics that was making me crazy. I've been thinking about looking into advertizing professional groups to see if there's anyone who might be able to address the problem. When I get a round tuit.
