Sorry Nadine, I don't buy the scared little girl imagery. Israel is have one of the strongest armies in the world. If anything it is its neighbors who should be scared of it, and Israel has the track record to prove it.

Existence of Israel, I am all for it. Everyone needs a place to feel safe in and given the history, I am sympathetic to plight of Jews in decades past. Existing as a Jewish State...by now you should know how much I hate organized religious groups, let alone a religious state...but that will not be a problem for long. Sooner or later Israel will have to choose between being a democracy or a religious state and I am sure they will choose the former. It will be in the best interest of Israelis.

I believe Israelis have a right to exist in Israel, behind the green line. I think the Palestinians have a right to the OTHER side of the green line. Am I a Zionist?
