I think your problem is that you have not given interviews to hundreds of media sources (or analyze data).

They all have different approaches and use different terminology, which can be seen in about 1 or 2 minutes of scanning stories that were published within days of each other.

Anyone who takes a dozen different references and pulls out one to publicly complain about shouldn't be teaching at Harvard (or many places) unless its to show the diversity in how media sources report news.

Don't worry. I don't quote anonymous sources. I view their comments on message boards as mostly nonsense.
