I have to agree with you. Kerry went to the extent of saying that even if he knew there were no WMD in Iraq­ he still would have voted to authorize the use of force in Iraq. So he would get the 1500+ US troops killed... for what purpose???? He was supposedly trying to appeal to the undecided voters there. How pathetic!

It turned out that at least some of those voters realized that Kerry was casting himself as "Bush Lite" and went for the stronger version instead..

Smearvets campaign will never work again. A one-use BS blast, now all discredited. Bush could only beat Kerry again if he has Diebold working for him, which he very well might.
