Dean would have lost by a wide margin. Edwards wasn't ready for prime time.

I admit JK's campaign was by no means perfect but he came from out of it to very close to winning. He beat Bush in all three debates and came within 1-2 million votes of winning. Against a war-time president. Also, I'll bet 5 million Bush voters now regret the way they voted. Maybe even 10 million.

Finally, if the exit polls are right, Kerry did win.
