Clapper~

Btw, have a great weekend of camping!
(I'm sure it will be, skeeters or not).

The hammock sounds like a good plan to moi.
When I was a kid, we used to have a couple of
old army surplus hammocks that we left tied
under the trees in the edge of the forest
behind our cottage. It was really nice
to go sleep in one for awhile in the afternoon
and listen to the breeze blowing through
the trees overhead.

We also used the hammocks to play a very
insane game -- rocking the hammock until
you dumped the person out of it. I didn't
actually play this too much, but my brothers
and one of my cousins did (bunch of crazies).
Sometimes, they would get the hammmock rocking
so hard that it would flip right over.
The trick was to hold the sides of it closed
so tightly that you were like a caterpillar
in a cocoon while the swinging was going on
- and yup, I had to endure being spun over a
couple of times because that's the only way
you got to keep your spot in the hammock
when the boys came around trying to dump
you out on the ground. <g>

clappy camper-

have a great trip and fun time.

yes. we're trying to do the usual race
and pot luck bbq at the lake but there
are a few obstacles, like a closed marina
and a flooded lake. i'll take pictures.

looking forward to some good stories from
you and some pics when you get back.
