Sioux-Per-Man, How's everything? I keep hearing how Florida real estate is rocketing like internet stocks used to. They've been building here like crazy, too. They are carving up all of the old farms and planting houses. A semi-famous sausage king named Karl Ehmer used to have his farm down the road from me. He died and they sold the cows and pigs. They tilled the ground and houses started sprouting up. Big boxes. Row after row. You can see into each backyard. No imagination went into planting them. Many folks like this area is because of the rolling hills and farm country. But now they are planting McMansions right on the reason for living here. Hill after hill now has box after box. One hill even has one of those inflatable tennis domes. As you look out at the scenery it looks like a large pillow on the valley. They installed another traffic light in town. That makes three. I think four and five are in the works. Longer commutes. Big houses to heat. Huge mortgages to pay off. I hope the economy keep perking. I wonder what will drive it? Nanotech, Biotech, alternative energy? Something will have to keep us going. Maybe I'll get it all figured out this weekend in my hammock... -DoobieBrother
