The truth hurts. I've known the military was a huge liar since Vietnam. It hasn't changed. It's just gotten worse under Bush.

You guys missed that one.

The Pentagon VETTED the Newsweek article BEFORE publication. The Pentagon was much more likely to have told the truth then before the furor.

The US Military on the ground in Afghanistan said that the riots and deaths were due to local politics and that the Newsweek article was simply being used to inflame an already bad situation. Oh yeah, the British military says that Afghanistan is headed for civil war.

Yep, Scottie, the Liar, McClellan will blame THAT on Newsweek as well.
