Didn't work for Fulbright in Arkansas in 1974. Didn't work for Hanoi George McGovern in 1980.

If you think it was a THRILL to see Traitor Thom go down last year (and INDEED it was!), you should have seen the OTHER TWO get clobbered back then.

The people of those states are willing to stand up for America whenever necessary. But-like the mule in the old joke-you need to smash them in the face with a 2 by 4 "to get their attention first"...


The editor of the largest newspaper in the state provided cover for Tom. Even with exposure, the vote was still very close. John Thune had lost the open Senate seat by a slim margin two years before. The voter fraud orchestrated by Daschle provided the margin of victory in that race. It is Thune's second statewide post, the first was Representative.
