Yep, I have gone there. In fact, there's one ebay seller, Craig Moerer, who sends me an e-mail each time they dig up another Ray Charles lp. And, there are quite a few dedicated e-bay like lp dealers which you can simply set up a search with them. The search will discover all copies in their inventory and then send you an e-mail each time they add a Ray Charles item to the inventory.

I do rather more of that than I should. However, the fun of hitting a large lp shop like the Princeton Record Exchange and getting lost in old lps, perhaps to come up with a jewel or two, is not replicable online. The same with bookstores full of old books. Just park me there and leave me for several hours.
