Sure, but Apple will be buying in very large quantities, and will get far better pricing than that.

My guess is that the iPod Mini and the Shuffle would probably merge into one product line. There would be no need for a hard drive-based Mini if you could get a flash-based unit with 8GB of storage. And the higher end flash players would almost certainly get a screen.
