Congressman Conyers (a real patriot) posts on the Daily Kos blog...fyi... dailykos.com Can't we do More? (4.00 / 17) No offense taken. We do not have subpoena power, that is the big one. We write letters. We can ask for GAO investigations. We can ask for independent counsels. Some times we can pursue FOIA requests. We can introduce bills and amendments. We can try to do our own investigations based on grit and persuasion.
