I don't think it's nearly that simple. I think we're in the exposition: getting to know the characters and such. Not even in the first act, yet, let alone lights out. Something is very badly wrong right off the bat, so it ain't a comedy, that's for sure. However, I would be surprised if the puppy opened, got killed in a couple of days, and that was that, as you suggest. Anyway, shall see, huh? One way or the other... It always was and still is a complete and absolute gamble: just like slots. The wheels on this one are still spinning. Some of them. Not looking very good right now -- at all -- but they haven't all stopped, yet; as long as there is still more money to be milked, lower...
