You mean like the Niece of a lady I had lunch with yesterday who gave birth to a methadone addicted baby last week who will be in the hospital for another month until he's gone through withdrawls and whos mother will eventually get custody of him and still be supported by a prominent businessman in Seattle? Personally......I'd like to sweep that irresponsible woman right out with the dirt.

Mike, I agree that there are some Americans who don't have a very high IQ....And there is help for them in many places. i.e. Section 8 housing, food stamps, etc etc. BUT there are many millions of people who are intelligent enough, but just have come to believe that "have fun now, and maybe be responsible someday, maybe not...someone else can foot my bill".... That kind of thinking makes me mad. And those of us who buy into that thinking are enabling those folks to continue to let "someone else" take care of them, and yet have all the privileges that a responsible citizen has. For instance, the vote.
