For those who only read headlines, the story seems to be confirming the newsweek charges sans toilet, especially because its on page 1. I just cant get upset about a couple of korans, and a couple of iraqis wearing lyndies underwear. All of this stuff that happened is regrettable and as you know from my disagreements with UW that the prereq for this was Rummy's war on the cheap strategy that left many folks unsuperivsed and playing supersleuth roles with the prisioners. I am also not naive enough to think that Khalid Shiek Mohammed was threatened with extreme measures because he masterminded some of the horrific things that al quaeda did. War is not a parlor game. There must me Command and Control to prevent gross abuses and stupid actions. Mike
