"Solon does not like the taste of his own medicine"

You don't give a response that has any value when you scapegoat a third party with a meaningless slogan. Be a man and give him a response that has integrity.

You know very well that he made a correct observation. The examples are in almost every message you post. When he states that you "twist and purposely misinterpret the words of all who reply to you"--he only states the obvious. Now tell us again about those Egyptian Magicians who were able to create life--the prerogative of Gods?

Or tell us the story about the two bears and the 42 little goldilocks?!

Or tell us about Moses and his men and all the virgins they had. Tell us please, please. Moses was guh guh guh guh guu...reat.

"Please give some examples and PLEASE don't just hold me to that standard"

Why do you want examples if you deny any responsibility to a standard of integrity?! LOL! What you are saying is: "Tell me where I lied (I don't claim I did not because I have no standards--but curiosity you know)! I keep a greg or e scrapbook of my lies! I want to see your examples in case I missed any for my greg or e scrapbook)!"

Does that paraphrase you fairly accurately, greg or e? Then I will conclude with a paraphrase of your words:

"PLEASE don't just HOLD me to that standard! PLEASE ALSO let me know when I FAIL that standard so that I can archive it in my greg or e scrapbook!"

"I have been trying to bring the shrillness down"

Good fellow. We will monitor your progress and continue to give you informed feedback. Part of your problem might be a panicky haste. Try to read over your message at least once before posting. If you find it is too shrill then take a break and consider how to bring the shrillness down a bit. Do something that relaxes you for a few minutes (drink, smoke, or do some gardening). When you look over your message you will be able to spot the shrillness right away and then you can remove it.

You might want to check for lactose intolerance, as well. This can result in shrill responses if you are not being circumspect in your diet. Sometimes a hormonal imbalance (such as diminished testosterone) can result in "shrill responses". It is something to consider. That "Desert Storm" General whose name I will not try to spell could probably give you some tips. The main thing to remember is that as long as you are "trying"...there is every possibility of success! You CAN be free of shrillness--and as a side benefit you will be far slimmer than you have ever been--and we will send you a free pasta tuning fork.

"I remain ever hopeful"

Sometimes you are so sweet you are just irresistable. When I read that I rushed to my Louisa May Alcott shelf. All those little women just brought tears to my eyes. There is nothing so sweet as hope. Are you still taking those Sunday School classes you mentioned? What book are you in now? Perhaps we should follow along here on this thread! ;-)
