Kreskin was American, but had a show on Canadian TV in the 70's. We were ahead of the curve up here.g

Yeah, I realize lots of folks love the Kramer schtick, I'm just not one of them. Zero charisma! If I want a rant and raver I tune into Jim Rome. And Orman is indeed far more annoying.

Just back from the beach, nicest day I may have ever seen here. Beaches are packed with Holidaying Americans spending lots of greenbacks on gelato and at the new Fatburger on Denman. Met one from Dallas of all places, good guy. Bitter at the Mavs for letting Nash go.

Happy Holiday Weekend to all my US friends. Off to the desert for a couple of days.

crowd that can tolerate more than 2 minutes of Suzi Orman (I can't)...

LOL!... nothing personal against Suzi, she is probably a great lady... but no one makes me switch the channel quicker... -g

Good to see you back, J.

Yesterday, on my way back after having been further South, I drove through Myrtle Beach, SC. Well.... I didn't know that there are such things as a Harley week, followed by a 'white biker" week, and then a week when black bikers come down to the area. Right now the black bikers are in control. They are a bunch of great looking guys on bikes (even though I liked the girls better - g/ng) - but the place was so crowded that at one point it took me almost an hour to make a quarter of a mile. I've been in some serious traffic jams, but this one was a beauty. It's not only the bikers, but also - apparently - their friends and family and fans in cars... anyway, if anyone ever decides to go there in the spring, listen to my advice, first check the biking week schedules.... -g
