There are two epidemics in Qinghai. On the bird side it started with 180 dead birds not infected with H5N1, then was 180 infected, then was 591 infected, and now is more than 1000 infected. Reports on the human side started with 6 dead tourists followed bu 121 deaths, followed by more in outlying regions. The two pandemics are at the same time in the same place.
