Have no idea. Frankly, I don't think it's a big enough post to warrant all this bother and hulabaloo... the guy will probably win his appointment, and then go on to fail or succeed on his own rights. (His apparent ability to 'massage' truth until it appears to say whatever he wants it to say could argue well for his abilities as a politician....) Of course, if Bush wants to hurry the process along, the ball is in his court --- all he has to do is cooperate with some of the information requests.
