It has been common in Muslim countries to treat foreign druggies worse than home grown terrorists. I recall cases from Turkey and other countries going back over twenty years where similar sentences were handed down. It is not fair. All tourists should be aware of the potential. Some of the cases with ridiculous sentences involved mere possession. This case appears to be about transportation. Indonesia is not a wonderful place.
