You would think that Kerry's managers had the upper hand on about every issue, but they didn't deliver. Also Soros tends to win things when he decides to, and he was short in the deal.

When Kerry was asked point blank whether he would have given Bush "war powers" even had he known that there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, he responded that he would have done so regardless.

I was stunned! The only sensible answer to such a hideous question would have been to defuse it by saying that the issue of giving the chimp "war powers" would never have come up without the possibility of weapons of mass destruction.

That was the moment I began to think Kerry didn't have the deftness to deal with the chimp and his merry band of renegades.
