Meanwhile I noticed tonight that the COT report on the SPX shows the lowest short position for the commercials and the lowest long position for the small specs since the October 2004 swing lows.

although they didn't go up a lot, I see that commercials slightly increased their shorts in the S&Ps and they increased them by 4% in the eminis.

small specs increased their emini longs by 6%
