I suspect the change isn't very large, but I'll take your word on the direction. I also doubt it has anything to do with who is in the WH. "Can you explain that in light of the moral Bush and his administration?" Don't look now but you're saying there's a moral problem with abortion. Dems aren't supposed to say that are they? I will also observe that you have uncovered evidence Bush hasn't imposed a theocratic regime on the US. "health insurance for all," I know Dems favor that - verbally. But do you remember the 1992-1994 period - the Democrats had the WH, Senate, and House. And Clinton introduced a universal health care plan and guess what happened?
