The extraordinary success of Fox News is giving the daily rebuttal to your "sad conclusion". I don't think so. Fox, if anything, supports my point. Fox is either part of "MSM" or it isn't. It obviously doesn't not have the "flaws" that provoke MSM disparagement so it's either an anomaly or not part of the set. Whether Fox is anomaly or outlier, the folks who I claim wouldn't be satisfied with anything the MSM could do have gravitated to Fox which is designed to cater to them. Such is the wonder of niche markets. But every grocer can't specialize if home-grown shiitake mushrooms. There's not a big enough market.
