Your point about Minetta is a good one. But the larger point is the one made repeatedly which is that no one who screwed up 9-11, who under Bush administration influence cherry picked intelligence to "configure" the intelligence, no one has been held accountable. The list over the last five years is rather long.

You, of course, are buying the line that Bush manufactured "evidence" to invade Iraq. I won't bother to refute that view again. You will never believe anything else.

You actually have little to no idea what I will believe. What I'm arguing in this particular case is that two intelligence analysts got the tubing argument wrong, could easily have gotten it right, that the UN agency got it right within 24 hours of getting the details. And, despite this, they were awarded bonuses, etc.

That does make one suspicious. That they were "helped" come to that conclusion. Or anticipated what conclusion to reach. Or were incompetent. All reasons for firing or no raises or less raises. Certainly not bonuses.
