Part of a war is seeing down the road- and in war atrocities happen, and in prisons rapes happen- and if you are going to have a war, and build prisons, you are going to get both atrocities and rapes (and numerous other evils), so the war had better be worth it, and you had better be able to justify your atrocities and rapes by your noble efforts. IMO Which is impossible if the standard is that YOU must display perfect behavior, but any barbarity is only to be expected, and therefore not news, if displayed by your enemy. Sort of affirmative action in warfare. I tell you, the Israeli/Pal conflict is the dress rehearsal for everything.
