Yes plumbers in France are overpaid. As in the UK. You will be lucky not to be ripped off.

There are good plumbers both in France and the UK, that will give you good value for service, but (like many professions imho) you stand a real risk of being overcharged. Whether the plumber originates from France or Poland is of little consequence.

It's all down to bureaucracy. Do you have the little bit of paper that allows you to do the job?

All the horse chit about where you came from means nothing.

Actually I feel sorry for you. I lived in the USA for about ten years so I know what I am talking about. I lived in California for about 5 years and 5 years on the East Coast. I liked the USA East Coast.
