Bruce I understood they changed it to National Patriot's Day a couple of years back as possibly Dollard's exploits were not quite as advertised... Actually it was news to me.. I thought it was still Dollard Day. Poor guy lost his town too I guess with the amalgamation on Montreal island.....

Dollard lost some stature with the Church's decline there too I imagine..

All in all I guess the Quebecois should really be angry with France not present day Canada... I mean first the French abandoned the Acadians, then the Canadians , sold Louisianna (well a hell of a lot more than the current state) and then peed away their time in Mexico ...

Dollar Day LOL.. at least it doesn't look like it will become Wal-Mart ay anytime soon :O)
