agreed... MCE is not a mainstream product, as is. Then again, I wonder if the vast majority of those who don't program their VCRs have any interest at all in DVRs. I know my father-in-law doesn't. I couldn't give him my directivo, even though he's already a directv user and can easily afford the $5/mo Tivo fee.
