Oh, Maurice, that's not nice. We both know that Junior is a world-beating faker who just uses the born-again schtick to fool the gullible evangelical voter. Bush is well and truly a megalomaniac. There's no denying that. The religious component though is pure Hollywood berley, just for the camera.

Maurice, Raymond is right in his assertion that the US establishment has a very dark side. For example, this business about the CIA involvement in cocaine back in the 1980's is not just rumor, I'm convinced that it is true though there is no way I could prove it. How do I know this? From things I have seen and people I know and trust. Here in the Southeast businessmen who had some infrastructure that enabled them to move the stuff into the country and once here move it about were given the "all clear" to do so untill about 1983 or so. Those who persisted in the trade after that wound up in jail. I know very well one "Dixie Mafia" businessman who fits the later category and is now doing a long federal sentence. In 1980 he had maybe 1000 employees in his "legit" business and was knee deep in the other. From this guy and other I have received the whole story from the horses mouth. Slagle
