Are you conflating Anti-Smarts and Bush voters? If we're going to talk about this any more, you're going to have to participate in the definition of terms.


Since Smartland does NOT vote for Bush - polls of newsrooms routinely show over 90% Democratic votes - the winning votes for Bush had to come from somewhere which almost definitionally, was not Smartland. Now, you could argue about what percentage of the Democratic vote was also non-Smartland, but it's clear that the overlap between Smartland and Bush voters is very small. Maybe Mark Steyn occupies most of it -g-
