I note that we have cleared and released an awful lot of the original Al Qaeda detainees. Some of those released have returned to the battlefield to fight our troops. I'd say we are leaning over backwards to be fair to the innocent. There is also a process in place to give them legal hearings. A great many have refused to participate however. Tell me - if an Al Qaida detainee is released and goes on to take part in a future terror attack which kills a member of your family, will you not be upset with his release?
