I can't remember where I read it first, P.J. O'Rourke or Krauthammer That search you posted included a Krauthammer piece about how the liberals are dumb. Perhaps you flipped it. Or perhaps it was O'Rourke. it's not intended to be a serious take on humanity You sounded really upset/outraged to me, which is way I responded so earnestly. I really don't think that liberals have a rep for thinking that conservatives as a class are dumb. Mean-spirited, maybe, but not dumb. And I always thought the Great Unwashed simply meant the lower classes, not anything to do with partisanship.
