Most of the detainees were swept up in Afghanistan. They would probably never have threatened the United States. I'm sure we picked up every Arab fighting with the Taliban and labeled them "terrorists". The hundreds of people released weren't AQ terrorists, or we wouldn't have released them. The "protestors" were the plaintiffs for the detainees, the Bushies were trying to keep them all without rights or process as long as they liked. This isn't MY America - not the America Bush would have it be.
