It was part of the coverup to portray Oswald as a commie. They put out a photo of Oswald holding up a commie magazine as proof. The public bought it. Only later did we find out it was a cropped photo and totally phony. Also, it is likely Oswald was not a commie spy but a CIA operative. Sent to Russia on a CIA mission. But it's also very likely Oswald was the victim of a major brainwashing. He was once stationed in Okinawa where MK ULTRA did some of its drug and hypnosis testing. Same true for Sirhan Sirhan. Brainwashed nut. Autopsy on RFK showed he was shot from the other side, but this was covered up by the FBI. Sirhan was only one of the shooters in the room. And Sirhan had no motive. Neither did Oswald for that matter. Or James Earl Ray. Same type MO with all three of them. The likely planner was Hoover because he hated all three of them and wanted them dead.
