Zell Miller lied to the American People, calling John Kerry weak on defense when they had the exact same voting record on military budgets in the senate. Chris Matthews and Tim Russert both busted Miller on this and he flew into tantrums. Previously, Miller had called Kerry a great American hero and they'd worked together and agreed on military issues. If Miller were honest, he'd be out criticizing Bush for lying to the American people, slashing veterans benefits and sending our troops to Iraq without proper body and Humvee armor.
