Here it is again; First; let me say that all Humans began with the union between a Human egg and Human sperm from two distinct individual Humans. The various stages of development have differing names but they all describe the same Human being. We don't ascribe value to Human Beings based on such varying criteria as size, location, dependence or degree of development outside the womb so I see no reason we should inside the womb. A Human Being is; Human; A member of the genus Homo and especially of the species H. sapiens. A person: the extraordinary humans who explored Antarctica. Being; To exist in actuality; have life or reality: There you go....From Dictionary.com Feel free to post definitions from any other dictionary. I think you will find they all agree with what I am saying. You never established your first premise you simply asserted it without foundation, but by your logic (if it can be called that) a new born Child is not a Human it must only be called a Child because it is not self aware! Are you that dense, really? The fact is a Zygote is a Human Zygote; A Child is a Human Child and an Adolescent is a Human Adolescent. I already pointed out to you that newborn Children are not self aware and yet we don't kill them for convenience so your criteria of self awareness falls flat on it's face. You say that an unborn person is not a person because they are not self aware and therefore I naturally assumed that this was the point (prior to which) you would approve of abortion. Abortion is the topic at hand you know. It's not my fault that the point at which people become self aware is not until after they are born. As you can see below the very same argument that you are putting forth is used by others to argue for the killing of infants up to a month after being born. If you disagree with abortion it's hard to tell from your posts Why not spit it out and be clear. So far Self Awareness seems to be your only Criteria defining what a Human Being is and you have clearly implied that it would not be wrong to kill some-thing as opposed to some-one. Perhaps you should go away and study the issue a little bit before shooting your mouth off and making yourself look so bad. I would be happy to continue the conversation any time you like. You could begin by actually reading what the other side has to say instead of prejudicially dismissing it as "garbage" without even reading it. Who knows, you might actually learn something.
