I went through a period of time in my mid 20s were I couldn't get enough oranges. I inhaled oranges in the form of juice or whole. I ate them in smoothies, salads, desserts and other drinks. I ate them morning, noon and night. I must have eaten 10 oranges a day for about a year. I also went through the same thing with milk and dairy products.......especially yogurt.......when I was in my early 30s. Lately I have been eating allot of grains. I just can't seem to get enough wheat or oats. My guess is my body needs something associated with that craving. But I draw the line at sweets. I think they are addictive and don't supply any vital nutrient. I try to limit them as they are not good for me and I don't feel good after I eat them.
