The perception is that allot of Americans are still hung up on race. Unfortunately, in some instances I think that is true, but I fervently hope that people will eventually get beyond prejudice and make decisions based on the ability of the candidate. That is the moral imperative Martin Luther King espoused, but for various reasons.....like winning the black vote......people continue to use the race card.

It would really be great to see such an accomplished black woman run for, and win the presidency. She would be the perfect example to dispel these harmful old notions and a perfect role model for those who need a social lift. She would not only be good for America but the world.

And if she were a republican.........well.......that's even better.
