Typical of liberals.
Throw out the baby with the bath water.

I'm SO annoyed by this. Partisanship is to be expected, but to let it hurt kids is just so stupid and wrong. Blech. Who cares WHY Schwarzenegger was doing a good thing? The fact is he was doing one.

So, Grannie, in the face of this article posted by ionesco do you still cling to the view that liberals are always out to help the unfortunate and conservatives are always out to hurt them?

What about this point, though, Ionesco? From what I've read, it seems like a valid point. I guess the question is whether children are better off with fresh fruit now but horrendous cuts generally in children's services, or would they be better off with Schwarzenegger out of office?

"Some Democrats even suggested that the governor's inclusion of the food program in his budget plan was a political stunt, an effort to obscure an overall strategy that leaves schools without funding for basic services."
