Lycos, Inc. Voluntarily Subjected Itself to Florida State Court Jurisdiction; Charges Include Allegations That Lycos Has Profited From the Defendants Ongoing Cyberstalking and Harrassment

MIAMI, FL--(MARKET WIRE)--Jun 10, 2005 -- Universal Communication Systems, Inc. (OTC BB:UCSY.OB - News) company chairman Michael J. Zwebner announced today that Lycos, Inc. et al, had voluntarily submitted themselves to the jurisdiction of the Florida State Court and was admitted to the case as an "intervener." The court pronounced ruling that it was denying Lycos motion to stay the applicability of the injunction against Lycos. The mandatory permanent injunction was issued against Pedro Dembovitch and Roberto G. Villasenor Jr.

The Florida Rule of Civil Procedure 1.610 states that every injunction "shall be binding on... those persons in active concert or participation with them (Defendants) who receive actual notice of the injunction."

Mr. Zwebner went on to state: "Yesterday we have filed a Motion to amend our complaint, and to file new charges against all the defendants including Lycos, Inc. et al, and John Does 1-20. This is a complaint for tortuous interference with business relationship, civil conspiracy, restraint of trade under Fla. Stat. 542.18, and Civil RICO -- Violations of Chapter 772, Florida Statutes, and for injunctive relief arising out of the defendants' statements made over the Internet about the Plaintiff's and directed and intended to cyber-stalk, harass and harm the Plaintiffs in Florida. In addition, we are filing suit against the defendants Lycos, Inc. et al, for operating a Racketeering Enterprise against the plaintiffs."

Mr. Zwebner further stated that some 20 Internet Posters, currently referred to as John Does 1-20, will be identified and served as defendants and as co-conspirators in the revised and amended complaint.
