I'm glad that you agree that "the cutting of the umbilical cord" is arbitrary. If it were simply a tangential matter such as getting a drivers license then I would have no problem with it but to use such an arbitrary criteria to take the life of an innocent person is outrageously immoral and will not stand up to scrutiny of decent people. That is why there is so many euphemisms and rhetorical word games which are solely designed to take the focus off what is really happening which is; The unjustified killing of innocent Human beings!
