There's this thing about congenital lying. There are times you to have people believe you- -and you can't prove what the truth is. If you have a reputation for lying, they assume you are lying yet again. If you have told the truth in the past- -even when it wasn't to your advantage to do so- -they will assume once again you are telling the truth.
